Warhammer 40k question?
When I paint my Leman Russ it has streaks that makes my tank look painfully obvious. How do I get rid of these streaks and give it a full clear colour. The colours im using on it is Desert Yellow and Catachen Green. Thnx for the help.
Another trick to try would be changing the basecoat, as Desert Yellow doesn't always go on smoothly over black - if you spray the model white first, that might help. Watering the paint down is what I generally do, and many thin coats are better than one thick lumpy coat. Additionally, you can get a fan shaped brush from a craft store or an art store, which will help with minimizing streaks. Finally, one thing I like to do for very minor streaks is to use the GW washes over my painting, which sort of ties everything together and covers a lot of mistakes. With Desert Yellow I'd recommend the Gryphonne Sepia wash, and I like using Devlan Mud on Catachan Green. Good luck!
